Employers
We currently work with a wide range of small, medium and large employers to help them access high quality training for their staff. The following are just a few examples of the work that we do on behalf of employers:

The Compass Group
The Compass Group are currently piloting Sustainable Development training materials with DGA UK and Network Publishing which includes a bespoke unit of training that is specific to Compass Group's business operations.
"We are delighted to work with DGA and Network Publishing on this latest programme," comments Mary Noble, UK & Ireland Learning and Development Manager, Compass. "As a major employer, we have a corporate social responsibility for the communities in which we work and of course Sustainable Development is a key priority within that."
Mary goes onto say; "We believe it is important for employers to make available development opportunities, which increases their people's awareness of the environment both in the community and at work."
Liverpool City Council
"We have been very pleased with Network Publishing learning materials and the tutor support has been first class", remarks Christine Beyga, Learning and Development Manager for Liverpool City Council, "They have enabled the council to provide flexible training to a large number of staff ranging from care managers to catering assistants. The learning materials are well presented and the content of the programmes is excellent.
"Feedback on the courses provided have been extremely positive and one member of staff recently commented that the training gave her the opportunity to gain current knowledge of the subject area and put what she had learned into practice, which directly benefited her service users."
Four Seasons Health Care
"The blended learning provided through Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education, and the NCFE workbooks on Safe Handling of Medicines, Dementia Awareness and Provision of Activities in a Care Setting, has been very beneficial by empowering staff with knowledge and skills within their various roles and boosting staff morale," states Freda Gill, Four Seasons Health Care.
Freda goes on to say, "The workbooks and training are of a high standard. We are making an investment in our workforce through the provision of this training and this has a positive impact on the future growth of Four Seasons Health Care as an organisation."
Rotherham Social Services
Rotherham Social Services has utilised Network Publishing's brokerage service to access training places at Rotherham College of Arts and Technology for the NCFE Certificates in Equality and Diversity, Safe Handling of Medicines and Infection Control.
The programmes have been rolled out widely across Rotherham Social Services. In addition, the positive experience of blended learning led Linda Allen, Principal Training Officer, to introduce a blended approach to meet induction and foundation standards using our learning materials for Contributing to the Care Setting.
Using the materials has reduced training officer time spent in delivery, limited off-site training, reduced staff backfill costs and disruption to services. An added benefit has been faster progression and completion by staff of NVQs in Health and Social care. A positive experience all round.
Metropolitan Police and Humberside Fire and Rescue
Providing 24/7 services like the emergency services can make organising and delivering training difficult.
Consequently, the emergency services have been very quick to engage distance learning and we have a number of projects across the country.
The Metropolitan Police has recently enrolled over 120 equality and diversity trainers and associated staff on the NCFE Certificate in Equality and Diversity.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service has also enrolled on the same certificate with Hull College. Mags Wilson, their Equality and Diversity Manager states, "It's definitely the way to learn, you can work at your pace, supported throughout and it's so flexible. We have had a fantastic response from the service staff and many are keen to progress onto further qualifications."
